Like 8MM, This movie was a bit "out there" too. It was a bit surprising to see Hugh Grant in a more serious role than what he is usually cast in. The acting was good, and the movie is suspenseful enough to hold your attention throughout its entirety. This movie is worth it, so I would give the movie 4 out of 5 stars

I guess that you could say that this movie was fairly disturbing. As described, this movie is dark and gritty. I still found the movie interesting, but be warned that it deals with a perverse side of life. The acting is pretty good. As far as Nicolas Cage, this type of movie seems to be typical of other movies that Cage stars in. As for Joaquin Phoenix, this seemed to be different from other movies that he plays in and I thought his acting was especially good. Overall, this was a good thriller. I would give this movie 4 out of 5 stars
